I have an idea to look for a personal file of Wladyslaw Makowiecki
in the archives of the company he worked for, that is:
N.V. De Bataafsche Petroleum Maatschappij

Would you happen to know where might their archives be located ?

De Bataafse petroleum maatschappij is a daughter of the Shell company. I think you have to contact this firm ( department for public relations).
